For classes that have not finished presentations yet, that will be our focus on Monday, 10 June 2019, right after our Test/Quiz on last meeting’s presentations. Immediately after that, we will briefly discuss about our Final Exam scheduled for Tuesday, 11 June 2019.
I have given you your Study Guide two weeks ago so I hope you followed exactly what I instructed you to do. If you did, then trust me when I say you are well prepared for it. If you haven’t, then you have Sunday and Monday to work on that...and hopefully, do well on the Final Exam.

On Monday, 03 June 2019, we will simply continue Final Project Presentations of those who have not presented yet. If we get to finish that immediately, then we are not going to waste time and just sit there, but instead, I am going to call on ANYONE who has not presented their Individual Projects yet. EVERYONE who has not presented should be ready without any excuse please. If possible, I would like to finish all Individual Presentations by Tuesday, 04 June 2019.........
For your Final Exams, I would like you to please begin preparing for it by starting to reflect on the year you had with me in Religion class. In your notebook or lined paper, list down whatever lessons, activities, discussions we had over the year that seemed to have made an impact in your life. Something memorable...confusing...eye-opening...a realization...etc. I do not expect you to be able to write everything down from day one to where we are at now, which is why I would rather you focus only on those that matter the most for YOU from our year together. You should have at least three. If it is about a project you did, then that is also acceptable. REMEMBER: This is in preparation for your Final Exam in our class...be smart and do it!

On FRIDAY, 31 May 2019, we will have our presentations of your PRAYER PROJECT in class...this means that your illustrations/collages/paintings to represent your chosen prayer is also due on FRIDAY when you present!

Look at the format and information then begin working on finding the same information facts for the CONFITEOR which you will be presenting and leading as a class during Morning Assembly on TUESDAY, 04 June 2019. For your Final Project on the Prayers, please note that this will be due on Tuesday, 28 May 2019, (no more Mindfulness that day) and everyone will get to present that day in class! Make sure your presentation does not exceed two minutes. You need three things when you step up to the plate.....
- Your Prayer on the Screen
- Your Picture Representation (either an illustration or a collage or a painting you did)
- What you have to say in terms of your prayer's origin and context, and how it appeals to you in connection with your picture representation

In addition to all this, I also want a one page, TNR, DS, Font 12, report that will simply introduce your chosen prayer, talk about the origin (if you have one), the context of the prayer and its significance or importance during the time it was written or created. Then, a second paragraph with 3-5 sentences on why the prayer appeals to you.
DO NOT FORGET: MINDFULNESS on Tuesday, 21 May 2019.....then immediately after, we work on our projects in class for the last time.

PLEASE BE AWARE that we will continue our Group Work on our Easter Projects in class this Friday, 12 April 2019. This will be the last in-class work session we have for this so make it count. Also, it is going to be an in-class work and therefore, no going out of the room to do interviews or to film anything...in-class work means we all stay inside the classroom from beginning to end of the block. You have to make sure all the interviews and filming are done before our class on Friday...!
Our Easter Projects are due next week and you have a window of three days to turn it in without deductions...Monday (15 April), Tuesday (16 April), and Wednesday (17 April). Any project turned in after Wednesday, 17 April 2019, 12:00 noon, will receive an automatic 10-point deduction. You have had close to a month and a half to work on this project. Projects turned in 100% done on Monday will receive extra credit. However, having said this, make sure you do not turn in a project just for the extra credit because that will not be enough to make your project pass if it is not done properly. "Quality" of the finished project should be your main focus...!

You just need to "know" what they are all about and not necessarily have to memorize it all. As I mentioned in class, it took me a long time to memorize all that which is why I really do understand if you cannot memorize it given only two weeks.....hence, the reminder to "Just Know It" and most of its parts...!

Just a weekend reminder that on Monday, 15 April 2019, we are having our Stations of the Cross and The Rosary & Its Mysteries Test. I have informed you about this test since last week and have given you a lot of time to prepare for it. Every class time, I also made sure that you be reminded of the test on Monday so you will be able to prepare for it little by little. I HOPE YOU DID!
Easter Projects are due next week...you have from Monday to Wednesday to turn it in! As I mentioned previously, any project turned in after 12 noon on Wednesday, 17 April 2019, will get deductions already. Please be reminded of this since you have had more than enough time to work on your projects so there should not be any reason why any group will not get to finish on time, if not ahead of time.

The Nicene Creed Oral Test starts next week, Monday, 04 March 2019. Since we are not using any class time for this, this is how we are going to go about with your NC Oral Test.......
- You can do your NC Oral Test with me during Break or Lunch Time when I am available in the Science Room or in the Library. However, having said this, you still have to schedule with me the time and day you intend to recite it...DO NOT JUST SHOW UP PLEASE!
- As I promised, you have three strikes to recite it in front of me...it can all happen in one meeting with me or in different days!
- The window to complete your NC Oral Test will be two weeks...from Monday, 04 March 2019, to Friday, 15 March 2019.....that is a total of 10 longgggggggggg days so EXCUSES will not be tolerated.

This means that I will call on your group to present your skit without your scripts in hand. You do not have to have props or costumes...I just want to hear your lines and know that you know what you are doing for actions and gestures. I hope you do not bore me or disappoint me with your presentations since I have given you so much time to prepare for this....!
NEXT......pick a chapter from 6-12 of your text, and then a topic from it, that you would like to further research on and use for a presentation in class. At this point, that's all you have to do with this. Then I would like you to COMMENT ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM and write what Chapter and What Topic you have chosen. This is on a first-come-first-serve basis, meaning if a topic has been chosen, then no one else is allowed to choose the same chapter/topic. Before posting your choice, you have to review everything that has been posted first.....

- If you can, cut and paste your Peer Evaluation (the first paragraph where you graded your group mates/partner for your project) on another Google Doc and send it to me privately. If you cannot do that, then just transfer your Peer Evaluation on a half sheet of paper by writing it. This is due when we meet in class on Friday, 02 November 2018, before Project Presentations, so make sure you keep it well and confidential...!
- For your Project Evaluation Writing, arrange it properly in a paragraph form; Font Times New Roman/ Letter Size 12/ Double Space. Good Day!
I am glad that you are all in the process of working on and completing your Trimester Religion Projects---I salute you!
Let me remind you though that those projects are not due until Friday, 02 November 2018...YOU HAVE SO MUCH TIME TO WORK ON IT SO PLEASE WORK ON IT CAREFULLY AND PROPERLY, RATHER THAN HURRIEDLY AND CARELESSLY! The next time we get to work on it in class will be on Friday, 19 October 2018. This means that you can continuously work on it on your own prior to that day. Make sure you delegate responsibilities equally to all the members of the group and not one person doing everything. Furthermore, at the end of it all, everyone will be doing a Peer Evaluation on the contributions of each member to the project and how they worked. Then when everyone has presented, we are going to have the "writing" part of that project. I will give you more details on that at a later time so it does not influence your completing the project in the next 2-3 weeks.....
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any other questions or need further clarifications regarding this project. In a nutshell, I explained all these to you already in class and I am simply stating it here once again.
