For your Final Project on the illustrations/collage/paintings (whatever it is you would like to work on), please note that this will be due on Thursday, 30 May 2019, and everyone will get to present that day in class! Make sure your presentation does not exceed two minutes. When you step up to the plate to present, you need to.....
- Show us your Picture Representation
- Explain to us why you chose what you chose to represent
- Explain why among all the many things we took up in class, that was what made most impact in you
In addition to all this, I also want a one page, Times New Roman, Double Space, Font 12, report that will simply discuss your choice of topic and how your picture representation relates to it. You could have additional information on what your "takeaway" is from the class and what made most impact in you this year in Religion 8.
This is a project that takes the place of your Final Exam (which you asked for) which means I will be very critical in grading it, so make sure you put 100% effort in completing it!

Also on TUESDAY, we will have our Test/Quiz on ALISTER's Presentation (Chapter 45: Together For Good). Make sure you READ and UNDERSTAND their topics from your textbook because I am combining their presentation with the text to make the questions for the Test/Quiz. Then immediately after that, we will have CLYNE's Presentation!
On WEDNESDAY, 29 May 2019, we will have our Test/Quiz on CLYNE's Presentation followed by LUC's Presentation!
On THURSDAY, 30 May 2019, we will have our Test/Quiz on LUC's Presentation. Immediately after that, we will proceed with the presentations of your PRAYER PROJECT in class...this means that your illustrations/collages/paintings is also due on THURSDAY when you present!

As I mentioned earlier in class, it is going to be rehearsals from Monday to Thursday next week, and then Monday to Wednesday two weeks from now. Some days will even have twice a day rehearsals. It is very important that YOU KNOW YOUR ROLES AND PARTS WELL by then please...! I would not want to waste time during those days since our rehearsal time in church for this is very limited as well.

Those who will be unable to participate in the event are tasked to put together the costumes we will need for every character/role. It will be your responsibility to make sure the Acting Group will have their complete costumes for the performances no later than Thursday next week, 11 April 2019. I suggest you divide the task among yourselves and each one takes care of whichever character is assigned to him/her. Aside from that, you all have to join and KNOW the songs of the choir since you will be rehearsing with them as well. If I call on you next week to sing a part of a station for me, whether your voice is off key or not, I still expect you to KNOW the lyrics of the songs and sing it to me.......

That is my bad if in case it was not that clear. Anyone who chose a topic from Chapter 44 will have to choose again from other chapters, since I am not including Chapter 44 now in the choices. There are a lot of questionable topics from that part which are inappropriate for you to further research and discuss. If you are stuck with not being able to choose any other topic...I will have something for you to focus on so do not worry about it. We will clarify more about this tomorrow.....I PROMISE!

We have had 12 people present their Saints Project today, and about another 10 who will present tomorrow, Wednesday, 23 January 2019...
For your homework assignment related to this, I would like you to please COMMENT ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM by writing your saint's name and one important fact of your choice about him/her. We will put these all together and discuss on Thursday, 24 January 2019, in preparation for our test on it next week.

On Wednesday, 12 December 2018, we are going to work on our Advent Projects in class for the last time. Whatever time you need to finish it after tomorrow's class is all up to you and your partners or group mates already.
Advent Project Presentations will be on Tuesday, 18 December 2018.....this means that when you enter our class that day, no more work should be done on the projects and we immediately proceed with presentations. Simple as that!
On Thursday this week, 13 December 2018, I will give you the last time to work on your DIGITAL BIOGRAPHIES of the saints you chose. By the end of that class, you should have between 75-90% done.....no less than that!

I am glad that you are all in the process of working on and completing your Trimester Religion Projects---I salute you!
Let me remind you though that those projects are not due until Thursday, 01 November 2018...YOU HAVE SO MUCH TIME TO WORK ON IT SO PLEASE WORK ON IT CAREFULLY AND PROPERLY, RATHER THAN HURRIEDLY AND CARELESSLY! The next time we get to work on it in class will be on Thursday, 18 October 2018. This means that you can continuously work on it on your own prior to that day. Make sure you delegate responsibilities equally to all the members of the group and not one person doing everything. Furthermore, at the end of it all, everyone will be doing a Peer Evaluation on the contributions of each member to the project and how they worked. Then when everyone has presented, we are going to have the "writing" part of that project. I will give you more details on that at a later time so it does not influence your completing the project in the next 2-3 weeks.....
Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any other questions or need further clarifications regarding this project. In a nutshell, I explained all these to you already in class and I am simply stating it here once again.
