Miss Rios

Ms. Rios had an amazing second year at St. Mark and is so excited to start her third year teaching 3rd grade here!  She loved the energy and enthusiasm of the students as well as the supportive nature of the entire community.  Before working at St. Mark, Ms. Rios grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania and loved it there.  She was originally going to college to be a nurse, but after realizing that teaching is really what she wanted to do, she switched majors and began her journey into education.  She graduated from Penn State University in 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and moved from Pennsylvania to California in July 2021.

In her classroom, Ms. Rios looks forward to creating a fun and positive learning environment for her students.  She loves getting to know them and creating unique relationships with each one of them.  Getting to inspire students and watch them grow and succeed is what Ms. Rios loves most about being a teacher!

Outside of school, Ms. Rios can be found at the gym, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or doing yoga.  She also loves animals, spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and watching sports.
