Miss Marshall

Miss Marshall is ecstatic to join the St. Mark community and begin teaching 6th grade ELA! Miss Marshall is an Ohio native who graduated from Ohio University in 2020 with a B.S. Ed. to teach Adolescent- to Young-Adult Integrated Language Arts. After graduating college in the midst of the pandemic, Miss Marshall moved to LA and began tutoring students who needed extra support with online learning as well as students who needed additional enrichment outside of Zoom. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, biking along the strand, watching Netflix series, and trying out new coffee shops! 

Miss Marshall has a love for learning, tracking growth, and working with students to help them expand their world view, which is what drew her to this profession. She prides herself on teaching students about real world concepts within literature and helping them make connections both inside and outside of the classroom. She values personal relationships more than anything and is so excited for the chance to meet and grow alongside her new students!
