 Students practiced reading familiar "old favorite" books that we have studied in reader's workshop. Students chose to read either Ferdinand or Corduroy to their partners, and did an excellent job using illustrations to tell the story!

Poem of the Week

Students memorized the poem "Caterpillar" and thought of the hand motions themselves. When reading memorized poems at home, it is a great time to practice the skill of pointing to words as you read along together!
