3:04 Music In Me
This year, the 6th graders have been steadily working on defining why music is important to them through their 'Music in Me' projects. Students were able to take three of their favorite songs and write scripts explaining why they loved each song along with reminiscing about memories related to each piece. They used GarageBand to fuse their songs together, create voice overs, and multiple effects to tell their stories through song!

In October, the 7-8 grade music classes worked on short compositions that reflected one of the three musical forms (structures) songs can possess. Each group was able to choose from binary (AB), ternary (ABA), or rondo (ABACA) form using only boomwackers. See what they came up with!
