Chick #3 Hatched!

Our third chick hatched during class this morning! A crack, a small hole, and lots of movement in the egg were observed when we got to school. Over the course of the next hour, the little chick used its egg tooth and feet to make its way out of the egg. We were lucky enough to be able to watch and record the entire process. Students were amazingly quiet as they watched, and they were AMAZED at the amount of hard work that goes into hatching! SO COOL!!!
