About Ms. Ashley Johnson

Ms. Johnson

Ms. Johnson is thrilled to be back at Saint Mark for her third year.  In the last two years, she has taught 3rd and 4th grade and is so excited to have the opportunity to teach 5th grade math in addition to 5th, 6th, and 7th grade ELA .  Ms. Johnson loves the welcoming and supportive community of Saint Mark and is so excited for another amazing school year. 

Before teaching at Saint Mark, Ms. Johnson taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Northern California where she was born and raised. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018 with a bachelors in Integrated Elementary Education and recently finished her Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning through Brandman University. Ms. Johnson believes in creating a fun, supportive and accepting environment where every student feels excited to come to school each morning! She is very passionate about making meaningful connections with the students and families and believes that is what contributes to students' success. 

Outside of the classroom, Ms. Johnson loves spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys running, going to the beach, and taking her dog, Archie, to the park.
