About Ms. Erin Duffy

Ms. Duffy

Ms. Duffy is so excited to join Saint Mark this year! This will be her 10th year teaching, having spent the last 5 years teaching fourth grade at American Martyrs School and, before that, she spent 4 years teaching second grade at St. Ignatius of Loyola. She has grown up in Catholic education, having attended St. Paschal Baylon elementary school in Thousand Oaks, CA, where her mom was her principal, and then went on to Louisville High School in Woodland Hills, CA. She hopes to create an amazing, fun experience and community for her students, just like she had as a student.

Ms. Duffy graduated from Chapman University in 2011 with a bachelors in Public Relations and Advertising, with minors in English and Film Studies. After 3 years in the entertainment industry, she decided her calling was in education, like much of her family, and went back to school to receive her Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University in 2017.

When not teaching, Ms. Duffy loves to spend time with her friends and family - her parents, 3 brothers, 3 sisters-in-law, 2 (almost 3) nieces and 3 nephews! She loves to play and watch soccer, snowboard in Mammoth, sing showtunes, and watch college football - Go Notre Dame!
