Ms. Janell
Ms. Janell has been working with us for 15 years, however her time in our St. Mark Community began many years before when she completed the Sacrament of Confirmation in the 70s and has been a parishioner since. Ms. Janell is a Certified Catechist, qualifying her to teach Early Childhood, Elementary, Jr High and Confirmation children. Now, she teaches the 1st and 3rd grade religion classes to our students here at St. Mark School. Ms. Janell has served in many ministries: Faith Formation, Lectoring, Hospitality, Eucharist Minister, St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, Nourish L.A., The St. Mark Food Pantry, Parish Council, Cooking for S.P.Y., and The Rosary Ministry .
Ms. Janell’s love for the Lord is unmeasurable. Her charismatic attitude towards her Faith is deepened everyday through the children here at St. Mark, by “Making a Difference” in the life of one child daily. The reward of being Humble and Grateful of the many blessings the Lord has provided to each and every one of us on a daily basis is what ties her to this community.
Outside of the classroom Ms. Janell loves to be on the road, especially driving, going to concerts, cooking and family gatherings especially with the Grandchildren and the Great-Grandchildren.
